Golden Orange Tetra

Description

Hyphessobrycon cf. moniliger. These were imported as H. negodagua but are most certainly not that fish. These are a very bright orange tetra with a black spot or streak across the tail area. Pictures do not do them justice; these fish are absolutely neon. They should stay small, less than two inches. Like all tetras they are best maintained in groups.

These are wild caught subadults around 1 long. Females are duller than males, but having females around encourages the best colour from males.
